Schnapsleiche Vodka is a Washington State vodka made exclusively from natural state grown ingredients, and doesn’t contain any added sugar. Schnapsleiche Vodka is as clean as vodka can be. Still, it has a certain taste: rich, full-bodied and complex, yet smooth and mellow with a distinct character of grain, followed by a hint of dried fruit. The main ingredients in Schnapsleiche Vodka are water and Washington State grown soft winter wheat. Winter wheat differs from other crops: it’s sown in fall, and harvested the next one.
Schnapsleiche Vodka is remarkable for its distinctly smooth taste that can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as a base of your favorite cocktail. Located in the Pacific Northwest, the Schnapsleiche team prides itself in the use of time-honored traditional distilling methods..
Aquavit has its origin in Scandinavia, where it has been produced since the 15th century. The word Aquavit is derived from the Latin aqua vitae, “water of life”. Akvavit gets its distinctive flavor from various spices and herbs, with the main spices being caraway and dill. It’s an important part of Scandinavian drinking culture, where it is often drunk chilled and slowly sipped from a small shot glass during festive gatherings, such as Christmas dinners and weddings, and as an aperitif.
Schnapsleiche Aquavit is a Northwest interpretation of this popular Scandinavian spirit. Dill, fennel, caraway and other spices are carefully blended and distilled by means of a vapor-infusion process of our Schnapsleiche Vodka. Enjoy it neat or on ice with your favorite evening meal.
The name gin is derived from Genièvre (French) and Jenever (Dutch), both of which mean “juniper.” From its earliest origins in the Middle Ages, gin has evolved over the course of a millennium from a herbal medicine to the spirit we enjoy today. Gin was developed on the basis of the older Jenever, and became popular in Great Britain when William of Orange, leader of the Dutch Republic, occupied the English and Scottish thrones with his wife Mary.
Schnapsleiche Gin is a London-style spirit notable for its balanced blend of juniper and citrus flavors. Botanicals are hand-ground using mortar and pestle and then distilled using a vapor-infusion process resulting in a truly distinctive taste.
This unique handcrafted spirit is made out of IPA beer supplied by Dirty Bucket Brewing Company. If you like beer you will like this tasty hop tasting spirit.
Schnapsleiche Martini Strength Gin uses the same selection of juniper and other botanicals as Schnapsleiche Gin at a higher proof for the martini and cocktail lover. It also works really nice on its own.
Schnapsleiche Blackberry Geist is made from delicious, ripe, purple blackberries. Blackberries are not actually a berry, rather an aggregate fruit with individual drupelets that are held together by very fine, nearly invisible hairs. We vapor-infuse our Schnapsleiche Vodka to create a unique Geist with warmly sweet, slightlyearthy undertoned blackberry taste.
Schnapsleiche Blackberry Geist can be mixed with Champagne or sparkling wine, then garnished with the corresponding fruit makes a delightful cocktail. Or add 1 oz. of Schnapsleiche Blackberry Geist to coffee for an after-dinner drink. In addition to being an after dinner drink, soaking fruit in Schnapsleiche Blackberry Geist infuses it with flavor, or it can be poured over ice cream
Schnapsleiche Chai Vodka is a unique, tasty product. We are the only distillery in the Northwest who offers this distinct tasting flavored vodka. You don’t want to miss it! It works great mixed in an apple martini or added to cherry cider for a delightfully refreshing cocktail. Try it in your Chai tea or coffee.

People have appreciated saffron since ancient times. Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius supposedly only bathed in saffron-scented water. Saffron was originally cultivated in the Orient, and in the eighth century, the Arabs introduced it to the Spaniards.
We take our Schnapsleiche Vodka and enrich it with Saffron. It creates a semi-sweet, faint honey flavored taste. However due to the nature of Saffron and its complexity the taste of this unique product might be experienced by everyone a little differently.
Kirschwasser is believed to have originated in the Black Forest regions of Germany in the early 1800. It is a colorless, clear brandy type whose flavor profile is nuanced like “schnaps” found in Europe – and not sweet like “schnapps” produced in the United States. It has a refined taste with subtle flavors of cherry. Schnapsleiche Cherry Schnaps (Kirschwasser) is distilled from Washington State “Sweetheart” variety cherries.
Kirschwasser is usually drunk neat. It is traditionally served cold in a very small glass and is taken as an aperitif. However, people in the German-speaking region where Kirschwasser originated usually serve it after dinner, as a digestive. Kirschwasser can also be used in cocktails or for cooking and baking. The Black Forest Cake traditionally is made with Kirschwasser.
